COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Forwards Brett Bolton (Rockledge, Fla.) and Kevin McKee (Davenport, Iowa) and defenseman Landon Uthke (Albert Lea, Minn.) were selected to the 2026 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team today (Jan. 16), rounding out the 17-player roster that will compete for an unprecedented fifth-consecutive gold medal at the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, set for March 7-15 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
“We’re excited to bring our final roster to 17 players, and adding Bolton, McKee, and Uthke rounds out our team at every position,” said Dan Brennan, general manager of the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. “They each bring something different to the table and will really strengthen our defense, scoring, and leadership.”
ABOUT BOLTON
A Rockledge, Fla., native, Bolton made his U.S. National Sled Hockey Team debut at the 2022 IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia. He was a member of Team USA’s gold-medal winning squad at the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championship and helped the U.S. capture a silver medal at the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championship the following season. He has also played at four IPH Cups and four Para Hockey Cups, helping the U.S. to a first-place finish at all eight tournaments.
ABOUT MCKEE
Already a three-time Paralympic gold medalist, the 2025-26 season marks McKee’s 16th campaign with Team USA. He ranks second all-time on the U.S. National Sled Team with 181 games played, and is fifth all-time in goals (60), assists (84), and points (144). McKee is also a six-time World Para Ice Hockey championship gold medalist, 11-time Para Hockey Cup champion, and four-time IPH Cup title winner.
ABOUT UTHKE
Currently in his first season with the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team, the defenseman made his international debut at the 2025 IPH Cup in Ostrava, Czechia, in October, skating in all five games to help lift the U.S. to a first-place finish. He then competed for Team USA at the 2025 Para Hockey Cup in Dawson Creek, B.C., in December, recording his first career pint and finishing the tournament with two assists in five games as the U.S. took home the tournament title.
