Tyrese Haliburton diagnosed with shingles, sidelined from Pacers activities.

Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton has been diagnosed with shingles and will be sidelined for several weeks, as stated by coach Rick Carlisle on Sunday.
Haliburton has not participated in any games this season due to the torn Achilles he sustained in Game 7 of last year’s NBA Finals, although he has remained present on the team’s bench during matches.
“It’s a very painful condition,” Carlisle informed reporters on Sunday, according to Sports Illustrated. “… He will fully recover, but this developed over the past few days. He was meeting us in D.C. and experienced some unusual symptoms before returning here. That’s the situation with him. We certainly wish him a swift recovery. It’s a distinctive case and a unique circumstance, but I’ve spoken with him several times and he’s consistently in good spirits, so he’ll manage to get through it.”
Shingles, characterized by a painful skin rash, is triggered by the same virus that leads to chicken pox.
In the absence of their leading point guard, the Pacers hold a record of 15-42 this season, marking the lowest in the Eastern Conference.
