Mike Conley Jr. and Timberwolves consider reunion following trades, sources indicate.

Free agent guard Mike Conley Jr. intends to return to the Minnesota Timberwolves, according to sources cited by ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The parties are currently discussing the timing of his re-signing, as per sources.
Conley started the week as a member of the Wolves but was traded to Chicago as part of a three-team deal.
The Bulls subsequently traded him to Charlotte in a different deadline transaction. The Hornets then chose to waive the 38-year-old. Since he was traded a second time before being waived, Conley is eligible to re-sign with Minnesota.
Conley has provided a stabilizing influence at point guard over his 19 seasons in the NBA, although he has begun to show signs of decline. He has started nine of the 44 games he has played for the Timberwolves this season, averaging career lows of 4.4 points and 2.9 assists per game.
