Finau performs the Dougie

Before the match commenced, LA’s Finau knew how to unwind. As he prepared for his initial tee shot, Finau dropped his club and showcased the Dougie for the spectators present at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Lee delivers an impressive opening shot

After a scoreless beginning through the first two holes, The Bay gained momentum on Hole 3, as Lee nearly achieved a hole-in-one. On The Bay’s first attempt, Lee struck the ball 211 yards, leaving his team just under nine feet from the pin.

Shipley makes TGL history

This was a debut that Shipley from The Bay is unlikely to forget. After extending the lead to 3-0 on Hole 4, Shipley continued the scoring streak by achieving a hole-in-one on Hole 5. This marked the first hole-in-one in TGL’s history.

Clanton increases The Bay’s lead

With a 5-3 advantage entering the singles segment of the match, Clanton added two more points for The Bay on Hole 5. Clanton positioned his team for a win on the hole with a second shot that left The Bay just six feet from the hole, while LA was over 11 feet away. Following an accepted hammer throw for The Bay, Clanton made the putt to elevate the lead to 7-3.

Finau narrowly misses on Hole 13

Trailing by two points with only two holes left, Finau almost reduced The Bay’s lead to a single point on Hole 13. Finau’s second shot, from 122 yards away from the pin, seemed destined to fall into the hole. However, the shot veered just to the left, resulting in a tie for the hole.
