MILAN – The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team is set to compete against Sweden tonight at Santaguilia Ice Arena in the quarterfinals of the Olympic tournament. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 9:10 p.m. local time/3:10 p.m. ET. Viewers in the U.S. can watch the game live on NBC, with streaming available on Peacock.
The U.S. and Sweden have faced each other 15 times previously in the Olympic Winter Games. Team USA has secured victory six times in this matchup, while Sweden has claimed seven wins, with two encounters resulting in a tie. The last Olympic meeting between the teams occurred in Torino, Italy, in 2006, where Sweden achieved a 2-1 victory during the preliminary round on Feb. 19.
