Tiger Woods remained silent regarding his participation in next month’s Masters, informing reporters after the TGL semifinals that his health fluctuates.

“I mentioned that I’ve been working on it,” Woods stated. “At times I experience good days, and at other times, bad days. Disk replacement is not particularly enjoyable. …

“As I noted, I’ve undergone numerous procedures before this, so my body doesn’t recover as it did when I was 24. It doesn’t bounce back as easily. There are days when I can do almost anything, and other days when it’s challenging just to move around.”

Woods, 50, had lumbar disc replacement surgery in October. He also suffered a rupture of his left Achilles last March.

The 15-time major champion has not participated in a tournament since the Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2024. He has claimed the Masters title five times, with his latest victory occurring in 2019.

In the interim, Woods continues to serve as what he refers to as “the manager” of his TGL team, Jupiter Links. The team advanced to the playoffs and achieved an upset against Boston Common on Tuesday night.

Jupiter Links will face Los Angeles in the finals beginning Monday.

When asked about his potential participation, Woods suggested that the team of Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Akshay Bhatia will compete against L.A. as they have throughout the TGL season.

“Well, I believe I’ve been attempting to play in each of these matches,” he remarked. “I’ve been trying to return. But it simply hasn’t worked out that way. … However, the guys here, this team, we have a great time, and I really don’t want to disrupt the lineup; I just want these players to keep competing.”
