Robert MacIntyre recorded one birdie over six holes and was ahead by two strokes on Saturday in the Texas Open when storms interrupted play for just over five hours, leading the PGA Tour to suspend the third round for the remainder of the day.

This sets the stage for an extensive finish on Sunday in the final tournament before the Masters, with some competitors needing to complete 30 holes to conclude the event. Groups will remain together for the duration.

MacIntyre stood at 15-under par at the TPC San Antonio. Ludvig Åberg notched three birdies in six holes while playing alongside MacIntyre, bringing him to 13 under.

No player completed more than 14 holes of the third round. This included Matt Wallace, who was 7 under for the round through 14 holes and within four strokes of the lead. Marco Penge, who will make his debut at Augusta National next week, recorded a score of 30 on the front nine and was at 10 under through 11 holes.

Penge was among the 15 players in the Masters who successfully made the cut.
