Kylian Mbappé addresses inaccuracies regarding his knee injury.

Kylian Mbappé asserts that “some inaccurate information has been circulated” regarding the knee injury that limited his participation for Real Madrid in recent weeks.
The French forward has appeared as a substitute in Madrid’s last two matches — including Sunday’s comeback victory against Atleti — after being sidelined for three-and-a-half weeks due to a sprained left knee, which has been an issue since late last year.
However, during a promotional event in France, Mbappé informed AS, “My knee is fine. It’s improving.”
“It’s progressing well, and I am aware that there has been considerable speculation surrounding it, along with some inaccurate information.”
“This is part of being a top athlete, and we are accustomed to people making statements without confirming them or having any factual basis.”
When Madrid announced that Mbappé had re-injured a knee issue from December at the start of March, the club indicated it would take a conservative approach to his treatment.
The 2018 World Cup champion is included in the France squad for two friendly matches at the end of March in the United States, facing Brazil on March 26 and Colombia on March 29.
The victory over Atleti maintained Madrid’s position four points behind leaders Barcelona in LaLiga, with Alphonso Arbeloa’s team also gearing up for a Champions League quarterfinal matchup against Bayern Munich in the upcoming weeks.
