Harry Kane initiates discussions to extend contract with Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich and Harry Kane have initiated discussions regarding a new contract, as stated by sporting director Max Eberl on Monday.
Kane’s existing agreement extends until the summer of 2027, and the Bundesliga champions are negotiating with the England captain for a new contract that could last until 2028 or 2029.
“We are in conversation with Harry,” Eberl informed Sky Germany.
“It is well understood that a decision must eventually be reached,” he added.
Kane has excelled for Bayern since his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for approximately £100 million ($136m).
The 32-year-old has netted 119 goals in 126 matches and last month became the quickest player to achieve 100 goal contributions in Bundesliga history.
“Harry has immense confidence in us and feels at home in Munich. He and his family are well settled. Thus, we have no reason to hurry,” Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen remarked.
Kane is the all-time leading scorer for England with 78 goals in 112 appearances, and his Premier League tally of 213 for Spurs places him 47 behind the league’s all-time top scorer, Alan Shearer.
