Conor Coady departs Wrexham on loan to join Charlton.

Conor Coady has departed Wrexham to join Charlton Athletic on a loan basis.
Since his arrival from Leicester City for an undisclosed fee during the summer, Coady has struggled to secure a regular position in Phil Parkinson’s lineup.
He has now signed a loan agreement with fellow Championship club Charlton that will last until the conclusion of the season.
Coady earned 10 caps for England under Gareth Southgate from 2020 to 2022, netting one goal, and also served as captain for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
At 32 years old, he has not started a league match for Wrexham since their loss to Queens Park Rangers on September 13.
Parkinson stated: “I wish Conor all the best at Charlton. He was eager to return to first-team play between now and the end of the season — this presents him with a fantastic opportunity to do just that.”

Charlton manager Nathan Jones remarked: “We’re thrilled to bring in Conor.
“He possesses a wealth of experience and has competed at the highest levels, including representing his country.
“His leadership and attributes are qualities we believe we require at this moment. We feel his leadership will be beneficial as we approach the final 18 matches.”
