Key information for Friday’s games
This Friday night in the NBA features a packed schedule with eight games, including two contests where both teams are competing for playoff positioning.
The Phoenix Suns have achieved four consecutive victories, bringing them within one game of the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference and just two games shy of the No. 3 seed. They will be on the road to challenge the Toronto Raptors, who have slipped to the No. 7 seed in the East, just one game behind the fifth seed. Both teams are in need of a win, and with the visiting team on a winning streak, this matchup has the narrowest point spread of the night at 4.5 points.
The second-tightest spread is for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they face the Golden State Warriors. The Timberwolves have dropped three consecutive games, placing them at the No. 6 seed in the West, while they visit the ninth-seeded Warriors, who are in a tight race with the LA Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers. This is another crucial game for both teams, with the road team favored, presenting ample opportunities for standout performances.
All these narratives and many more will unfold tonight. As always, we will delve deeper into the action to pinpoint fantasy streamers, intriguing betting angles, and DFS options for this TGIF slate.

Dré’s favorite bets for Friday
Jalen Green over 19.5 points (-104)
Green has been on a scoring spree since March began, reaching at least 20 points in five of his six games. Over his last four games, he has averaged 27.5 PPG, including a season-high 36 points in yesterday’s matchup. The Raptors possess solid wing defenders, but they will need to concentrate on containing Devin Booker (31.8 PPG in his last five games), which should enable Green to find good scoring opportunities.
Dejounte Murray over 16.5 points (-107)
Murray has performed well since returning from injury, scoring at least 17 points in four of his seven games thus far. He has elevated his performance this week, scoring 19 points on Sunday and then achieving a season-high 27 on Wednesday. The New Orleans Pelicans surround Murray with finishers that opposing defenses must account for, creating driving lanes and open shots for the skilled point guard.
Rudy Gobert over 11.5 rebounds (-135)
Gobert has secured at least 12 rebounds in seven of his last nine games, averaging 12.6 RPG during this period. The Warriors allow the second-most rebounds in the NBA to opposing centers, and Gobert has recorded at least 14 rebounds in two of his three games against them this season.
