Woodland claims victory at Houston Open, securing first title following brain surgery.

Gary Woodland claimed victory at the Houston Open by a margin of five strokes on Sunday, marking his first PGA Tour win since undergoing brain surgery in 2023.
This achievement followed shortly after the former U.S. Open champion disclosed to Golf Channel that he has been facing post-traumatic stress disorder following the surgery.
“Anyone who is struggling, I hope they see me and remain resilient,” Woodland stated to NBC after finishing the tournament with a final round score of 3-under 67.
