Bodycam footage reveals Tiger Woods’ reaction to DUI arrest.

Tiger Woods expressed surprise as he was placed in handcuffs following a vehicle accident last week in Florida, based on body camera footage released on Thursday.
“I do believe your normal faculties are impaired, and you’re under an unknown substance, so at this time you’re under arrest for DUI,” stated Martin County Sheriff’s deputy Tatiana Levenar after administering a sobriety test to Woods.
Woods mentioned that he was looking at his phone and adjusting the radio when his speeding Land Rover struck the rear of a truck and overturned on its side on a residential street in Jupiter Island.
“I’m being arrested?” Woods asked as he stood by the roadside.
“Yes, sir,” replied Levenar.
The footage also reveals that officers discovered pills in Woods’ pocket following the incident.
“That’s a Norco,” Woods remarked after an officer retrieved two white pills, referring to a pain medication that contains acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Authorities would later verify that Woods was found to be in possession of hydrocodone.
In the bodycam video, Woods informed Levenar that he had not consumed any alcohol and that he had taken “a few” medications earlier that day, although his comments are muted in the released footage as he discusses some of the substances.
Woods entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday to the charge of driving under the influence. He issued a statement Tuesday evening indicating that he would be stepping away indefinitely “to seek treatment and focus on my health.”
