Spain dashed England’s hopes in the Euro 2024 final in Germany, which marked Gareth Southgate’s last match as manager. Tuchel’s squad will also compete against Croatia and Czechia in Group A3.

Reigning Nations League champions Portugal have been placed in a group with Denmark, Norway, and Wales.

France will face Italy, Belgium, and Turkey.

Germany, Netherlands, Serbia, and Greece comprise the other League A group.

Wales is positioned in Group A4 with Nations League titleholders Portugal, along with Denmark and Norway.

Scotland, managed by Steve Clarke, will compete against fellow World Cup 2026 qualifiers Switzerland, as well as Slovenia and North Macedonia in Group B1.

The Republic of Ireland will encounter Israel, Austria, and Kosovo in B3, while Northern Ireland will face Hungary, Ukraine, and Georgia in B2.

The Nations League group matches are scheduled for the autumn, with four matches to be played in a window from late September to early October, and the final two in November.

The quarterfinals and promotion-relegation play-offs are set for March 2027, with the final four teams competing in the Nations League finals in June.
