The 54-year-old became a co-owner of the Welsh club in July, joining a consortium that includes former Ballon d’Or recipient Luka Modric and U.S. television personality and author Martha Stewart.
Swansea announced that Snoop will “appear pitchside before the match to engage supporters in a pre-match fan display” and will also visit local community areas.
He expressed to the club’s website: “I know it has taken a while, but I am eager to finally make my first visit to Swansea City.
“From the moment we discussed my ownership, I have been anticipating the opportunity to be with all of you at the Swansea.com Stadium.
“I have heard numerous positive remarks about the atmosphere, particularly during night games.
“When I watched the Wrexham match, where we demonstrated that we are the capital of Welsh football, the noise in the stadium was remarkable even from over 5,000 miles away. I am excited to be part of it.”
The rapper garnered attention last week at the Winter Olympics, where he serves as an honorary coach for Team USA in Milan and Cortina, as well as a special correspondent for NBC, when he requested a photo with British curlers Bruce Mouat and Jennifer Dodds.
