Free agent center Mason Plumlee is set to sign a 10-day contract with the San Antonio Spurs, as confirmed by his agent Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports to ESPN’s Shams Charania on Tuesday.

In his 13th season in the NBA, Plumlee was traded from the Hornets to the Thunder in a three-team trade prior to the trade deadline, after which he was waived by Oklahoma City.

Plumlee participated in only 14 games for the Hornets, starting in two, and averaged just under nine minutes on the court per game. His last significant playing time occurred last season with the Suns, where he took part in 74 games, averaging 4.5 points and 6.1 rebounds.

The addition of Plumlee brings the total number of centers on the Spurs’ roster to five, joining Victor Wembanyama, Luke Kornet, Kelly Olynyk, and Bismack Biyombo.
