Sources report that Suns’ Brooks has a fractured hand; Booker sidelined for one week.

Phoenix Suns guard Dillon Brooks sustained a fractured left hand during Saturday’s double-overtime victory against the Orlando Magic and is anticipated to be out for a significant duration, sources informed ESPN.
Medical professionals are scheduled to convene on Sunday to establish a precise timeline for Brooks, sources indicated.
Brooks’ injury adds to the challenges for the Suns, who revealed prior to Saturday’s matchup that All-Star guard Devin Booker would be unavailable for at least one week due to a right hip strain sustained against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.
Brooks logged seven minutes against the Magic, contributing five points and three rebounds before his injury. He is an essential component of the playoff-contending Suns, entering Saturday with an average of 21.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Brooks has raised his scoring average by 6.9 points compared to last season, marking the sixth-largest increase among players eligible for the scoring title in both years, as per ESPN Research.
Phoenix has a record of 3-4 without Brooks this season.
Booker is averaging 24.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.9 rebounds over 44 games this season. The 29-year-old recently missed seven consecutive games due to a sprained right ankle.
The Suns are considered one of the NBA’s unexpected postseason contenders this season with a record of 33-24, demonstrating a new culture and identity under first-year head coach Jordan Ott, alongside leaders Booker and Brooks, and a youthful core featuring Jalen Green, Collin Gillespie, Mark Williams, and Ryan Dunn.
