Raptors acknowledge Drake’s speculated ‘Iceman’ album with frosty seating arrangement.

Drake’s courtside seats at the Toronto Raptors’ home game on Sunday night experienced a distinctive modification prior to the match.
The Raptors posted a photo of the seats adorned with faux icicles hanging from them, captioned: “Drake’s seats froze.” This is likely a reference to Drake’s forthcoming studio album, “Iceman,” which was previously speculated to be released last year. It will mark his first solo album since the fall of 2023.
Drake expressed his approval of the post and shared a picture of the frosty appearance on his Instagram story. These seats are his designated area when he attends Raptors games at Scotiabank Arena, particularly during the team’s NBA Finals journey in 2019.

The seats appeared to have been defrosted by the time of Sundayβs tipoff and remained unoccupied throughout the evening as the Raptors triumphed over the Brooklyn Nets 136-101.
This is not the first occasion the Raptors have collaborated with the Canadian artist.
The franchise appointed him as its global ambassador in 2013, and he appeared on the cover of Slam Magazine alongside Raptors stars DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry in March 2016. Since 2015, Toronto has utilized a black-and-gold color scheme β a tribute to Drake’s October’s Very Own brand β although it was not featured in this year’s lineup. The Raptors also hosted a “Drake Night” in 2016.
With the Raptors returning to the playoffs for the first time since 2022, Drake is expected to be back in his courtside seats β provided they have thawed out.
