Nuggets to assess Gordon’s hamstring injury in 4 to 6 weeks

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon will undergo re-evaluation in four to six weeks due to a right hamstring strain, as announced by the team on Thursday.
Gordon re-injured the prior hamstring issue he experienced in late November during the latter part of Friday’s 102-100 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Denver coach David Adelman mentioned after the game that Gordon was hopeful his hamstring issue was not as severe as the one from earlier this season, which had kept him out for over a month, but additional testing was required.
This injury adds to the challenges faced by an already injury-stricken Nuggets team that has had several players, including Nikola Jokic, miss time due to various ailments.
Gordon is currently averaging a career-high 17.7 points across 23 games this season.
