Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is set to be re-evaluated in four to six weeks due to a right hamstring strain, according to sources cited by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Gordon re-injured the hamstring issue he first experienced in late November during the latter part of Friday’s 102-100 victory against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Following the game, Denver coach David Adelman mentioned that Gordon was hopeful his current hamstring issue was not as severe as the earlier injury this season, which had kept him out for over a month, but additional tests were necessary.

This injury adds to the challenges faced by an already injury-stricken Nuggets team that has had several players, including Nikola Jokic, miss games due to various ailments.

Gordon is currently averaging a career-high 17.7 points over 23 games this season.
