Panathinaikos will take on AEK in the 6th round of the Stoiximan GBL this Sunday afternoon (November 8, 13:00) without Kendrick Nunn.
The American guard will not be included in the six foreign players chosen for the βShamrockβ squadβa choice driven by planning and load-management considerationsβand has received special permission to travel to Qatar.
There, he will conclude issues concerning his passport (and undergo medical checks) to become eligible to compete for the host nation of the 2027 World Cup. This will also trigger a lucrative deal that stands to earn him 1.5 million for each major tournament in which he takes part.
He is set to return to Athens on Tuesday morning (November 10) and will, naturally, be available to Ε½eljko ObradoviΔ for the EuroLeague match against Barcelona (Round 11, November 13, 21:15).
