Kawhi Leonard exits Clippers’ defeat due to a sprained left ankle.

LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard exited the game with a limp after sustaining a sprained left ankle late in Saturday’s 118-109 defeat against the Sacramento Kings.
Leonard did not re-enter the contest, and the Clippers did not provide any updates regarding his potential absence moving forward.
The injury occurred with 9:27 remaining in the fourth quarter while he was defending DeMar DeRozan, landing awkwardly before retreating a few steps and falling to the floor. He quickly got back up but noticeably limped to the Clippers’ bench before proceeding to the locker room.
Leonard concluded the game with 31 points, marking the end of the Clippers’ four-game winning streak. This performance also extended Leonard’s streak to 45 consecutive games with at least 20 points, surpassing Bob McAdoo’s franchise record established during the 1974-75 season when the team was located in Buffalo.
Leonard is currently averaging a career-high 28.3 points over 52 games this season.
