MINNEAPOLIS — Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will not participate for Golden State on Monday evening against Minnesota due to injuries, while Anthony Edwards is also unavailable for the Timberwolves.

Both athletes were in uniform on Sunday afternoon when the Warriors triumphed over the Timberwolves 111-85 in Minneapolis. However, coach Steve Kerr indicated that Curry’s troublesome right knee was significant enough on Monday morning to exclude him from the game.

Green is out due to a back injury.

Kerr expressed optimism that both players would return to the roster for Wednesday’s matchup against Utah.

Edwards was a last-minute withdrawal because of a foot injury.

The Warriors were already at a disadvantage after losing forward Jimmy Butler for the season due to a torn ACL. Forward Jonathan Kuminga will also be absent with a bone bruise and a hyperextended left knee.
