Dan Fallows, former Red Bull employee, signs with Racing Bulls following departure from Aston Martin.

Former Aston Martin and Red Bull engineer Dan Fallows is set to join Racing Bulls as the new technical director starting in April this year.
Fallows collaborated closely with Adrian Newey at Red Bull from 2006 to 2021 before transitioning to Aston Martin, where he took on the role of technical director in April 2022.
He received partial credit for the team’s rapid improvement between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, but a decline in performance in 2024 led to his dismissal from the position in November of that year.
His role at the forefront of Aston Martin’s technical team was succeeded by Newey, who became a shareholder, along with former Ferrari technical director Enrico Cardile.
Following a short period at Aston Martin Performance Technologies, he departed the company entirely and was announced in his new position at Red Bull’s junior team on Friday, reporting to chief technical officer Tim Goss.
Racing Bulls’ previous technical director Jody Egginton left the team in April 2025 to assume the role of engineering director at Red Bull Advanced Technologies.
“I’m very pleased to be joining VCARB at an exciting time for the team,” Fallows stated. “There is a clear vision and strong technical ambition, and I’m looking forward to collaborating closely with Tim and the broader engineering group to enhance performance and continue building the team for the future.”
