Aston Martin unveils 2026 livery, the initial design by Adrian Newey

Aston Martin has revealed the livery for its inaugural Formula 1 car developed under the direction of design icon and team principal Adrian Newey.
The team will maintain its iconic shade of green in 2026, a season in which it aspires to establish itself as a competitive presence at the forefront of the F1 grid.
The British outfit showcased its new livery on Monday during an event in Saudi Arabia, the location of their title partner Aramco.
There is significant anticipation surrounding Aston Martin’s AMR26, which made its debut at F1’s ‘Shakedown’ event in Barcelona last month.
Newey’s car will participate in testing alongside F1’s other ten teams in Bahrain, which is set to host three days of testing this week and the next.
“With entirely new regulations, the optimal philosophy is not immediately clear, and your comprehension evolves as the car progresses,” Newey stated.
“With the AMR26, we have adopted a comprehensive approach: it’s not merely about one exceptional component, but rather how the entire package functions cohesively. The emphasis has been on robust fundamentals, development potential, and a car that Lance and Fernando can hopefully consistently harness performance from.”
Newey assumed the role of team principal late last year during a reorganization that saw Andy Cowell transition to oversee the team’s new Honda engine initiative.
Aston Martin team principal Lawrence Stroll has dedicated years of resources to the new regulatory changes taking effect this season.
In addition to hiring Newey and securing an exclusive agreement with Honda, Stroll has also constructed a cutting-edge headquarters opposite the Silverstone race circuit.
The Canadian billionaire aims to position his team as title contenders under the new regulations.
