GAME DAY | U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team Prepared to Compete Against Czechia in Semifinal Match of the Paralympics
MILAN – The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team is prepared to compete against Czechia in the semifinals of the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games today (March 13) at Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena.
The game is scheduled to begin at 2:35 p.m. local time/9:35 a.m. ET, and it will be broadcast live on USA Network, as well as streamed live on Peacock.
Team USA approaches this matchup after securing the top seed in Group A during the preliminary round, achieving a 3-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record, with victories over the host nation Italy, Germany, and China.

Czechia concluded the preliminary round as the second seed in Group B, finishing with a 2-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record.
In Team USA’s most recent match on Tuesday (March 10), Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) achieved his third consecutive hat trick and contributed two assists, leading the U.S. to a 7-1 win over China, which secured the top seed in Group A.
Farmer’s five-point performance brought his career total to 58 Paralympic points, establishing a new all-time record. He is also currently tied for his own U.S. Paralympic single-tournament records with 11 goals and 18 points across just three games.
While Farmer leads the tournament in both goals and points, several of his U.S. teammates are also prominent on the tournament leaderboards. Jack Wallace (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) has recorded three goals and seven assists, while Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) has tallied two goals and eight assists, placing them both tied for second among all skaters with 10 points in the tournament. David Eustace (Stoneham, Mass.) ranks third among all skaters with five goals, and Noah Grove (Frederick, Md.) has eight assists, tying him with Roybal for second among all skaters.
The U.S. and Czechia have met twice in Paralympic history, with Team USA winning 10-0 in the preliminary round in PyeongChang in 2018, and 3-0 in the preliminary round in 2010 in Vancouver.
In total, these two teams have faced each other 20 times across all competitions, with the U.S. holding a 19-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record, including a recent 3-1 victory over Czechia in the Para Hockey Cup preliminary round in December.
Team USA has participated in five Paralympic semifinal matches historically, boasting a record of 4-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in those games, with four consecutive wins.
The gold-medal match is scheduled for Sunday (March 15) at 4:05 p.m. local time/11:05 a.m. ET, to be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock. This contest will feature the winner of this match against the victor of the second semifinal-round game between Canada and China, which is set to occur today at 7:05 p.m. local time/2:05 p.m. ET.
