GAME DAY | U.S. National Sled Team Set to Face Canada at Para Hockey Cup
DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The U.S. National Sled Team will take on Canada here today (Dec. 3) in its third and final preliminary round game of the 2025 Para Hockey Cup at Ovintiv Events Centre. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. local time/9 p.m. ET, and the game will stream live here.
Team USA enters this contest with a 2-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record at the tournament through its first two preliminary-round contests. The U.S. defeated China, 6-3, yesterday (Dec. 2). Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) notched five points (2g, 3a) in the victory, while Kayden Beasley (Coats, N.C.) tallied two goals and earned U.S. Player of the Game honors.
Canada carries a 2-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record into the game after defeating Czechia and China in its first two preliminary round matchups.
Team USA and Canada have played 135 contests all-time across all competitions, with the U.S. holding a 62-14-7-50-2 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) advantage in those matchups. Most recently, Team USA skated to a 3-0 victory against Canada in the IPH Cup championship game in Ostrava, Czechia, in October.
