GAME DAY | U.S. Men’s Team Set to Compete Against Denmark in Olympic Matchup
MILAN – The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team is set to compete in its second preliminary round match of the Olympic tournament tonight against Denmark at Santaguilia Ice Arena. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 9:10 p.m. local time/3:10 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast live on USA Network and streamed on Peacock.
This will be the first encounter between the U.S. and Denmark in the Olympic tournament.

Team USA enters the game with a 1-0 record following a 5-1 win over Latvia on Wednesday (Feb. 11). Brock Nelson scored twice, while Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes, Jack Eichel, and Matthew Tkachuk each contributed two assists to enhance the U.S. offense.
Denmark holds a 0-1 record after losing 3-1 to Germany in its tournament opener on Wednesday, despite outshooting the Germans 38-26.
After returning to the Olympic Village at 1:15 a.m. post-game against Latvia, head coach Mike Sullivan chose not to hold a practice yesterday, opting instead for a team meeting in the Village. The U.S. took advantage of its noon pre-game ice slot today to finalize preparations for tonight’s match.
The U.S. will also face Germany tomorrow night at 9:10 p.m. local time/3:10 p.m. ET, marking its third game in four days.
