MILAN – The U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team is set to face Canada in the gold-medal match of the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games today (March 15) at Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena. The puck is scheduled to drop at 4:05 p.m. local time/11:05 a.m. ET, with coverage available on NBC and live streaming on Peacock.

Team USA approaches this contest with an unblemished record of 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) after dominating the Group A round-robin in the preliminary stage and securing a 6-1 win against Czechia in the semifinals on Friday (March 13).

Canada also enters the game with a perfect record of 4-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L), having claimed the top seed in Group B during the preliminary rounds and defeating China, 4-2, in the semifinals on Friday (March 13).

Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) has achieved a hat trick in each of Team USA’s four matches thus far, and his six-point (3g, 3a) effort on Friday elevated his tournament total to a leading 24 points, setting a new U.S. single-tournament record at the Paralympics.

Farmer also tops all players with 14 goals, marking a U.S. single-tournament record. He currently has 64 career Paralympic points (35g, 29a) across 18 games, the highest total for any skater in history.

Brody Roybal (Northlake, Ill.) ranks third on the tournament points leaderboard with 12 (2g, 10a) in four games, while Noah Grove (Frederick, Md.) leads all defensemen in the tournament with nine assists and 11 points.

Team USA boasts a tournament-high 40 goals through four games, matching the gold-medal winning 2018 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team for the most goals ever scored by a U.S. team in a single Paralympics.

The U.S. and Canada have previously met six times in the Paralympics, with the U.S. holding a record of 4-1-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T), including five consecutive victories. These teams have also competed in the last two Paralympic gold-medal matches, with Team USA achieving a comeback overtime win against Canada in the 2018 gold-medal game, followed by a 5-0 triumph in 2022.

The U.S. maintains an all-time Paralympic record of 30-2-0-6-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L-T) and an undefeated record of 3-2-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) in gold-medal games.
