Wrexham have confirmed the signings of forwards Davis Keillor-Dunn from Barnsley and Bailey-Tye Cadamarteri from Sheffield Wednesday on deadline day.

Keillor-Dunn, aged 28, netted 16 goals in 34 matches for Barnsley this season and returns to the club where he made six appearances in the National League in 2020. He will don the No. 7 jersey.

In an interview with club media, Keillor-Dunn remarked: “If there’s one club that’s calling, it’s Wrexham you want to go to. When I learned of the interest and spoke to the manager, there was only one place I wanted to come — and that was back here.”

Jamaica international Cadamarteri arrives from Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday, where he made 52 league appearances after joining their youth setup 11 years ago.

“Bailey is powerful, he’s strong, he makes good runs and I thought he worked really hard for the team today,” Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson stated following Wrexham’s 1-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend.

Departing the Welsh club are Elliot Lee, who has been loaned to Doncaster Rovers, while Jacob Mendy has completed a permanent transfer to Peterborough United.

Mo Faal and Harry Ashfield are both moving on loan to Cheltenham Town for the remainder of the season.

Wrexham currently occupies the sixth position in the Championship and is vying for promotion to the Premier League.
