Tottenham faces allegations of altering meeting records, supporter organizations demand clarity.

Tottenham Hotspur has been accused of selectively modifying the minutes from a fans’ meeting that took place earlier this month, including the removal of a statement indicating that the club “welcomed the input” from supporters.
Members of the Spurs board, including chief executive Vinai Venkatesham, convened with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust (THST) on February 3, shortly before the dismissal of Thomas Frank as head coach.
THST stated that several specific issues raised during the meeting “were not agreed to be included in the final published version, despite our request.”
Among the statements that THST claims were omitted was: “The club welcomed the input of THST.”
Additionally, THST asserts that a section expressing fans’ worries about the potential risk of relegation from the Premier League, as well as the sentiment that the confidence gained from winning the Europa League last season had now been “lost,” was also edited out.
Concerns regarding the insufficient development of young players, the club’s capacity to generate profit, and the specific on-field objectives underlying the “strategic principles” outlined by the club were also requested for inclusion but were not added, according to THST.

“Publishing a complete record of the points raised promotes accountability and allows members, as well as the broader fan base, to comprehend how the Trust is fulfilling its responsibilities on their behalf,” a statement on the THST website noted.
“Transparency is essential to our role and in our interactions with the club.”
Tottenham chose not to comment, but sources close to the club suggested that there was no intention to sanitize the minutes and that they aimed to provide an accurate account of the discussions held.
Spurs currently occupy the 16th position in the Premier League with 12 matches remaining, five points clear of the relegation zone.
The club has appointed Croatian Igor Tudor as head coach for the remainder of the season.
