Aberdeen progressed to the semi-finals of the Premier Sports Cup

Aberdeen could face disciplinary action after some supporters invaded the Rugby Park pitch following their Premier Sports Cup win over Kilmarnock on Saturday.
Jack Milne scored the winning penalty to seal a 3-1 shootout victory after the sides were tied 1-1 at the end of extra time and the Dons will face Rangers in next month’s semi-final at Hampden Park.
Tournament organisers the Scottish Professional Football League will investigate the post-match episode in East Ayrshire and also ask the Pittodrie club for an explanation into the use of pyrotechnics during the quarter-final.
The SPFL cut Rangers and Celtic’s allocation for Hampden after the widespread use of flares disrupted League Cup semi-finals last season.
And the SPFL and Scottish FA are looking into getting tough on unacceptable conduct in Scottish football.
Both Old Firm clubs have been ordered to play their next home matches in the Scottish Cup behind closed doors following trouble during and after a quarter-final tie at Ibrox in March.
