Thomas Frank dismissed by Tottenham following poor Premier League performance – sources

Thomas Frank has been dismissed from his role as head coach of Tottenham, sources have informed ESPN.
The 52-year-old departs after eight months at the helm, with Spurs currently positioned 16th in the Premier League following a 2-1 loss at home to Newcastle United on Tuesday.
Frank was met with chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” from Tottenham supporters, who also referenced former manager Mauricio Pochettino as the team suffered their 11th league defeat of the season.
Sources indicate that the club has not yet made a decision regarding a successor, but an interim appointment is deemed more probable. Chief executive Vinai Venkatesham is anticipated to release a statement later today.
