Liverpool announce acquisition of defender Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes

Liverpool has announced the acquisition of defender Jérémy Jacquet from Rennes, who is expected to join the team in the summer.

According to sources, the agreement is valued at £55 million ($74 million) along with an additional £5 million in performance-related bonuses.

The 20-year-old has entered into a five-year contract effective from July 1, which includes an option for an additional year.
