Cristiano Ronaldo nets 17th goal of the season for Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo netted his 17th goal for Al Nassr on Friday during their 3-0 victory over Al Kholood, marking the opening goal of the match at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Buraydah on matchday 18 of the Saudi Pro League.
With this goal, Ronaldo is now tied with Mexican Julián Quiñones, who also reached 17 goals for Al Qadsiah against Al Hilal on Thursday.
Ivan Toney, the England forward who previously played for Brentford in the Premier League, is also in contention for the top scorer title, having scored 18 goals this season.
At 40 years old, Ronaldo has secured the Saudi Pro League Golden Boot for two consecutive seasons.
He is also pursuing a career milestone of 1,000 goals and currently has 961 career goals.
Two minutes into the second half, fellow Portuguese player João Félix assisted from the left side of the penalty area, allowing Cristiano Ronaldo, arriving from the center, to easily tap the ball into the net past Argentine goalkeeper Juan Pablo Cozzani.
Six minutes later, French central defender Mohamed Simakan extended Al Nassr’s lead to 2-0. In the 27th minute, Al Kholood’s midfielder Hatan Bahbri received a second yellow card and was dismissed, leaving his team with 10 players.
Shortly after, Aiman Yahya came on to replace Ronaldo.
The two teams had previously met on September 14, 2025, at Al-Awwal Park, where Al Nassr secured a 2-0 win, with goals from Iñigo Martínez and Sadio Mané. Al Nassr has never lost to Al Kholood in an official match.
Ronaldo and his teammates are currently on a three-match winning streak, following a stretch of three losses and one draw, as they aim to maintain their momentum against one of the lower-ranked teams.
Al Nassr is currently positioned third in the standings, with 40 points, six points behind Al Hilal, the sole leader, but with a game in hand. Each team will play a total of 34 matches this season.
