Colombia’s Jhon Durán transfers to Zenit on loan from Al Nassr.

Colombia forward Jhon Durán has been loaned to Zenit St. Petersburg from Saudi club Al Nassr until the conclusion of the season.
The Russian team confirmed the acquisition on X on Monday. This marks the sixth club in the 22-year-old Durán’s career, which includes a tenure with Premier League team Aston Villa, where he established himself as a prolific substitute.
His status as a key substitute at Villa led him to net six goals at the start of the 2024-25 season, despite having only one starting appearance, resulting in a new contract extension until 2030.
However, just three months later, Durán transferred to Al Nassr to join Cristiano Ronaldo for a reported fee of £64 million ($80 million).
He received a red card in only his fourth match there and scored eight goals in 13 appearances in the Saudi Pro League last season.
At the beginning of the current season, he was loaned to Turkish side Fenerbahçe, where he found the net five times in 21 matches.
Durán started his professional journey with Envigado in Colombia before moving to Chicago Fire in MLS and subsequently earning a transfer to Villa.
