Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 1

After an action-filled weekend in women’s boxing, numerous elite fighters made compelling arguments to maintain their positions or enter the pound-for-pound top 10, resulting in the addition of two new names.

Ellie Scotney, 28, achieved the distinction of being the youngest undisputed champion in U.K. boxing history with a unanimous decision win over Mayelli Flores in London on Sunday, successfully unifying all four major junior featherweight world titles. This victory places Scotney at No. 9 in the rankings.

In the main event, Caroline Dubois knocked down Terri Harper in Round 6 en route to a unanimous decision victory, unifying two lightweight titles. Dubois’ combination of speed, power, and accuracy continues to impress, earning her a debut ranking at No. 10.

Additionally, Chantelle Cameron showcased a steady performance in a competitive match against Michaela Kotaskova, winning decisively on the scorecards to maintain her No. 5 ranking.

Earlier in Cardiff, Wales, unified welterweight champion Lauren Price overcame challenges, including cuts to her mouth and above her right eye, to secure a unanimous decision victory over Stephanie Pineiro, successfully defending her WBA, WBC, and IBF titles.

Here is the current top 10.

Note: Results are current through April 8.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 2 1. CLARESSA SHIELDS

RECORD: 18-0, 3 KOs
DIVISION: Undisputed heavyweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Franchon Crews-Dezurn, Feb. 22
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Shields’ remarkable career progressed in February with a dominant unanimous decision victory in a rematch against Franchon Crews-Dezurn, allowing her to retain the undisputed heavyweight championship. As the undisputed champion across an unprecedented three weight classes and a two-time Olympic gold medalist, Shields remains the most accomplished athlete in both men’s and women’s boxing. She has yet to face a worthy opponent in the ring and may consider moving down in weight to challenge current unified junior middleweight champion Mikaela Mayer or unified super middleweight champion Shadasia Green.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 3 2. KATIE TAYLOR

RECORD: 25-1, 6 KOs
DIVISION: Unified junior welterweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (MD10) Amanda Serrano, July 11, 2025
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Taylor executed a strategic performance to defeat Amanda Serrano by majority decision last July, completing a 3-0 record in their trilogy. The two-division undisputed champion has indicated that she has one final fight remaining in her career and aspires to compete at home in Dublin, Ireland. An opponent for this last bout has yet to be determined, but she may seek to reclaim the WBC title held by Sandy Ryan, who won the belt in February after Taylor vacated it last September. Taylor could also consider moving up to 147 pounds to face unified welterweight champion Lauren Price or arrange a rematch with the only woman to defeat her, Chantelle Cameron.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 4 3. GABRIELA FUNDORA

RECORD: 18-0, 10 KOs
DIVISION: Undisputed flyweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (KO6) Viviana Ruiz Corredor, March 14
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Fundora continued her dominance in the lighter weight classes with a fourth consecutive stoppage victory in a one-sided bout against Ruiz Corredor on March 14. Her skills, combined with her 5-foot-9 height and 69-inch reach, have been evident in her commanding performances. What makes her ascent even more daunting for her rivals is her consideration of moving down in weight to challenge unified junior flyweight champion Evelyn Bermudez. Fundora has shown significant improvement with each outing and is nearing the top of this list.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 5 4. AMANDA SERRANO

RECORD: 48-4-1, 31 KOs
DIVISION: Unified featherweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Reina Tellez, Jan. 3
NEXT FIGHT: May 30 vs. Cheyenne Hanson

Serrano rebounded from her trilogy fight defeat to Katie Taylor with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Reina Tellez in Puerto Rico to start 2026. Although she finished the trilogy with a 0-3 record against Taylor in closely contested bouts, the seven-division champion can take pride in her role in advancing women’s boxing through those remarkable matches. Serrano has suggested that 2026 might be her final year in the sport, and the unified featherweight champion announced on April 7 that she will defend her titles against Cheyenne Hanson on May 30 in Texas.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 6 5. CHANTELLE CAMERON

RECORD: 22-1, 8 KOs
DIVISION: Junior middleweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Michaela Kotaskova, April 5
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Cameron was unable to secure a rematch with Katie Taylor and opted to move up two divisions to junior middleweight, where she became a two-division champion by defeating Kotaskova for the vacant WBO title. Cameron, a former undisputed junior welterweight champion, remains the only fighter to have defeated Taylor in the professional ranks, but she may not have the opportunity for a third fight before the Irishwoman retires. However, as a titleholder at 154 pounds, she could choose to unify titles against other champions, Oshae Jones and Mikaela Mayer.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 7 6. MIKAELA MAYER

RECORD: 22-2, 5 KOs
DIVISION: Welterweight champion; junior middleweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Mary Spencer, Oct. 30, 2025
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Mayer delivered an impressive performance while dismantling Mary Spencer in October and has numerous options for her next bout after signing with Most Valuable Promotions in March. With world titles in both welterweight and junior middleweight, Mayer could aim for undisputed status in either division with a fight against Lauren Price or Oshae Jones, respectively, but a potential matchup with Claressa Shieldsβ€”if they can agree on weightβ€”would be one of the most significant fights in women’s boxing.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 8 7. ALYCIA BAUMGARDNER

RECORD: 17-1, 7 KOs
DIVISION: Unified junior lightweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD12) Leila Beaudoin, Dec. 19, 2025
NEXT FIGHT: April 17 vs. Bo Mi Re Shin

Baumgardner relinquished her undisputed status to participate in 12-round, 3-minute-per-round championship bouts and managed the challenge effectively, defeating Leila Beaudoin in December. Baumgardner has been recognized as a leading figure in Most Valuable Promotions women’s boxing and will seek to make an impression when she headlines against Bo Mi Re Shin in New York on April 17.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 9 8. LAUREN PRICE

RECORD: 10-0, 2 KOs
DIVISION: Unified welterweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Stephanie Pineiro, April 4
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Price triumphed in a bloody contest against Pineiro to defend her WBC, WBA, and IBF welterweight titles. In just 10 professional bouts, the Welsh boxer has already defeated notable opponents such as Natasha Jonas, Jessica McCaskill, and Pineiro. Although it initially seemed she was on a path to face Mikaela Mayer to determine an undisputed champion, she now finds herself in contention with Claressa Shields following her victory on Saturday. Price appears to have numerous avenues to advance her position on the P4P list.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 10 9. ELLIE SCOTNEY  Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 11   Previous ranking: NR

RECORD: 12-0, 0 KOs
DIVISION: Undisputed junior featherweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Mayelli Flores, April 5
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Scotney made history as the youngest undisputed women’s champion in U.K. history with an engaging unanimous decision victory over Flores. Scotney, 28, has impressed since her professional debut in 2020, achieving victories over current undisputed bantamweight champion Cherneka Johnson and former WBC junior featherweight champion Yamileth Mercado. She could solidify her position in her division with contenders like Skye Nicolson and Erika Cruz nearby or consider moving up to featherweight, where Amanda Serrano, Dina Thorslund, and Tiara Brown would pose significant challenges.

Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 12 10. CAROLINE DUBOIS  Women's boxing pound-for-pound list: Two athletes enter the top 10 for the first time 13   Previous ranking: NR

RECORD: 13-0-1, 5 KOs
DIVISION: Unified lightweight champion
LAST FIGHT: W (UD10) Terri Harper, April 5
NEXT FIGHT: TBA

Dubois excelled in her performance against Harper during the inaugural MVPW card in London. After analyzing Harper’s style, Dubois knocked her down with a left hand in Round 6 and controlled the remainder of the match. At 21, Dubois is actively seeking a bout with Alycia Baumgardnerβ€”who competes in a lower weight classβ€”but a unification fight with the winner of Stephanie Han vs. Holly Holm 2 appears more probable. Dubois is exceptionally talented and could soon be contending for a top position on this list.
