Three-division world champion Mikaela Mayer has joined Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.

Mayer (22-2, 5 KOs) becomes part of what is arguably the most talented roster of female boxers in the sport just ahead of the promotion’s MVPW event debut in April. Mayer — currently ranked No. 6 on ESPN’s women’s pound-for-pound list — holds the WBA and WBC junior middleweight titles and retains the WBO welterweight championship.

“I am excited to be part of Most Valuable Promotions as we continue to break barriers and elevate women’s boxing to new levels,” Mayer stated. “I have always sought the biggest and best fights, and MVP’s outstanding roster of women champions presents remarkable opportunities to make those matchups a reality. I am eager to display my abilities on some of the sport’s largest platforms and collaborate with a dedicated, innovative team that supports the ongoing advancement of women’s boxing.”

Mayer, 35, represented the United States at the 2016 Olympics and made her professional debut the following year. She began her career with a record of 17-0 and was the unified junior lightweight champion before experiencing her first defeat, a close split decision against Alycia Baumgardner in 2022. She faced another narrow split decision loss to Natasha Jonas in her attempt for a welterweight title in early 2024 but has since regained momentum. Mayer claimed the WBO welterweight title by defeating Sandy Ryan in September 2024 and successfully defended her title in a rematch in March 2025. Last October, Mayer ascended to junior middleweight and triumphed over Mary Spencer to secure the WBA and vacant WBC titles.

“Mikaela is among the most accomplished athletes in women’s boxing and a recognized champion across various weight divisions,” said Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions. “She has competed on the sport’s grandest stages, faced top fighters globally, and continues to advance the sport. We are pleased to welcome Mikaela to MVP and anticipate building the next phase of her career together.”

Mayer has been associated with potential bouts against IBF, WBA, and WBC welterweight champion Lauren Price to establish an undisputed champion, as well as a possible high-profile matchup against women’s pound-for-pound champion Claressa Shields.
