Dubois-Harper, Scotney-Flores set for MVP’s inaugural event in the U.K.

Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is set to make its debut in the United Kingdom on April 5 with a compelling lineup of women’s boxing, featuring WBC lightweight champion Caroline Dubois facing WBO titleholder Terri Harper in a 10-round unification clash, as announced by the promotion to ESPN on Wednesday.
The event, scheduled to occur at Olympia Events in London, will also showcase unified women’s junior featherweight champion Ellie Scotney taking on WBA champion Mayelli Flores to establish an undisputed champion in a 10-round contest. Additionally, Chantelle Cameron will compete against Michaela Kotaskova in a 10-round junior middleweight bout for the vacant WBO title.
This event will be available for live streaming on Sky Sports in the U.K. as part of MVP’s new agreement, with details regarding the U.S. broadcast to be revealed shortly.
“MVP’s latest achievement in women’s boxing coincidentally falls on National Girls and Women in Sports Day as the company introduces its brand to the UK for the first time,” MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian stated in a release to ESPN. “This card already includes three of the top pound-for-pound female boxers globally and four world title matches. MVP is the worldwide home of women’s boxing, and we are eager to provide these athletes with the platform and visibility they rightfully deserve.”
Competing out of London, Dubois (12-0-1, 5 KOs) last fought on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s knockout win over Jake Paul in December, where she secured a unanimous decision against Camilla Panatta in her first bout since joining Most Valuable Promotions. The younger sister of heavyweight Daniel Dubois aims to become a unified champion in her 14th professional fight.
“This is a significant fight in my career and for British boxing, representing both a legacy fight and unification,” Dubois remarked. “The objective is to become the undisputed world champion, and this is the initial step.”
Dubois, 25, will take on three-division champion Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs), who hails from Doncaster, England. After winning world titles at 130 and 154 pounds, Harper transitioned to 135 pounds and captured the WBO title with a unanimous decision over Rhiannon Dixon. She has successfully defended her title once and aims to hand Dubois her first defeat.
“This fight has been a long time coming,” Harper stated. “I appreciate MVP for making it happen. I’m thrilled to be headlining MVP’s inaugural U.K. event!”
Scotney (11-0), 27, seeks to become the youngest undisputed champion in U.K. history with a victory over Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs). She earned the IBF title by defeating Cherneka Johnson in 2023, added the WBO title in 2024, and claimed the WBC title in her latest fight against Yamileth Mercado in July. Flores secured the WBA title in May with a split decision against Nazarena Romero.
Cameron (21-1, 8 KOs) is the former undisputed junior welterweight champion and the only fighter to have a victory over Katie Taylor. Cameron is ranked No. 5 in ESPN’s pound-for-pound list and won her last bout in July by decision against Jessica Camara. She will move up to 154 pounds to face Kotaskova (11-0-4, 2 KOs) in pursuit of becoming a two-division champion.
