Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr has suffered a right hamstring strain and is expected to be sidelined for around two weeks, sources informed ESPN’s Shams Charania on Thursday.

Sarr, one of three players this season averaging at least 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game, will not participate in Friday’s Rising Stars game.

He was absent from the Wizards’ 138-113 defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday due to what the team described as right hamstring tightness.

This marked Washington’s last game prior to the All-Star break, as the Wizards currently possess the second-worst record in the NBA at 14-39.
