Towns of the Knicks sidelined against the Bulls due to right elbow injury

NEW YORK — Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns was sidelined for Friday night’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to a right elbow impingement.
Towns appeared to be in high spirits as he engaged in pregame warmups and took several shots. However, he was seen in front of the visitor’s bench, clutching his elbow before heading off the court toward the locker room.
The All-Star center is currently averaging 20.1 points and 11.9 rebounds. Mitchell Robinson took his place in the starting lineup.
