Suns forward Dillon Brooks taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks was taken into custody early Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to police.
Officers initiated a traffic stop in Scottsdale at approximately 1 a.m., and following an investigation, Brooks was arrested. He was subsequently transported to jail and released after the booking process around 3:30 a.m.
“We are aware of the situation involving Dillon Brooks and are in the process of gathering more information,” the Phoenix Suns stated in a release to ESPN. “We have no additional comments at this time.”
Brooks, 30, has been sidelined for the last five games of Phoenix due to a fractured left hand sustained during a victory over Orlando on February 21, but he is anticipated to make a return near the conclusion of the regular season. Brooks is currently averaging 20.9 points, which reflects an increase of 6.9 points from the previous season, along with 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and one steal.
