Scotty Pippen Jr. and Myron Gardner each penalized $35,000 for altercation during Grizzlies-Heat game.

NEW YORK — The NBA imposed a fine of $35,000 each on Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. and Miami Heat forward Myron Gardner on Monday due to their altercation during a game over the weekend.
With 1:55 left in the fourth quarter of the Heat’s 136-120 win on Saturday night, Gardner collided with Pippen from behind, causing him to fall. Pippen then proceeded down the court to confront Gardner and delivered a forceful two-handed shove, leading to a brawl that extended into the stands with 1:19 remaining. Both players were assessed technical fouls and subsequently ejected.
