Raptors’ Immanuel Quickley sidelined due to hamstring injury for Game 2 against Cavaliers

Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley has been declared unavailable for Monday’s Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as stated by coach Darko Rajaković.
Quickley, who suffered a right hamstring strain during Toronto’s final regular-season game, has been absent for both matches at the start of this Eastern Conference first-round playoff series.
Rajaković mentioned that Quickley participated in a workout during the shootaround on Monday morning and has shown signs of improvement.
During the regular season, Quickley averaged 16.4 points, 5.9 assists, and 4.0 rebounds over 70 games. He incurred a mild hamstring strain in the game against Brooklyn.
He was sidelined for eight games from March 23 to April 5 due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
Quickley also engaged in a workout during Toronto’s practice on Sunday. He will have several days to recuperate before the series moves to Toronto for Game 3 on Thursday.
The Raptors are currently trailing the Cavaliers 1-0 in the best-of-seven series.
