The league disclosed viewership statistics for the regular season on Wednesday, indicating that 170 million individuals in the U.S. tuned in to NBA games across its four main broadcasting platforms: ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, NBC/Peacock, and NBA TV.

According to the NBA, these figures represent the league’s highest viewership in 24 years, marking an 86% increase compared to the previous season.

This season marked the first inclusion of Prime Video in the NBA’s television rights package, while NBC/Peacock made a return after a lengthy absence. The league finalized a new 11-year media rights agreement valued at over $76 billion in 2024, which commenced at the beginning of this season.
