Luka Scuka Returns to EuroCup with Manresa, Turk Telekom Sidelined

Luka Scuka made his official arrival at Kids&Us Manresa on Monday afternoon, signaling his comeback to the BKT EuroCup competition.
The 2.06-meter forward-center brings the experience of 26 league appearances with Cedevita Olimpija to his new side in Euroleague Basketball’s second-tier continental club tournament. The 24-year-old Slovenian international had been connected with a move to Georgetown, but that transfer did not materialize. Instead, he opted to remain in Europe to evaluate his options.
The Manresa recruit is a well-known figure in FIBA basketball, having featured for Slovenia’s senior national team in recent years. He played alongside NBA superstar Luka Doncic during EuroBasket 2025 and the Piraeus Olympic Qualifying Tournament in 2024 ahead of the Paris Games.
Scuka now joins a squad managed by head coach Diego Ocampo. The current roster comprises Chibuzo Agbo, Timmy Allen, Ferran Bassas, Lucas Beaufort, Hugo Benitez, Michael Enabulele, Gustav Drejer Erichsen, Gerard Fernandez, Lukasz Kolenda, Yordan Minchev, Guillem Naspler, JD Notae, Nick Ongenda, Pierre Oriola, Lucas Sanchez, Pablo Tamba, Eric Vila, and Rafa Villar. Additionally, Manresa is reportedly nearing the completion of a deal with former NBA forward Isaiah Mobley.
Ocampo’s team currently holds a 3–2 record in Group D of the 2026–27 Regular Season. Their next challenge arrives on Wednesday when they travel to Panevezys’ Kalnapilio Arena to face Lietkabelis in Round 6.
Meanwhile, Turk Telekom has announced a roster setback after ruling out Tony Taylor on Sunday. The 36-year-old point guard injured his left ankle during last week’s EuroCup action. This represents a significant blow for the Ankara club, which sits at the bottom of Group B with a 1–4 record. In their Round 6 fixture on Wednesday, they host the Skyliners at Ankara Arena.
