Lakers exclude Luka Doncic (hamstring) from lineup once more against Thunder

Luka Doncic will be sidelined for a second consecutive game on Monday as the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder.
Doncic has not participated since he exited the game with a limp during the second quarter of a victory against the 76ers on Thursday, also missing the subsequent win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. He has been diagnosed with a “mild” strain of his left hamstring, as reported by coach JJ Redick.
The Lakers are set to host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday and Doncic’s former team, the Dallas Mavericks, on Thursday. The All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
Doncic topped all players in the voting, garnering over 3.4 million votes to secure an All-Star selection for the sixth time in his eight-year career.
He currently leads the league in scoring with an average of 32.8 points per game, along with 8.6 assists and 7.8 rebounds. This season, he has missed nine games due to various leg injuries, while the Lakers have recorded a 5-4 record during his absence.
Out of the 50 games the Lakers have played this season, Doncic, LeBron James, and Austin Reaves have shared the court together in only 10 of those matchups.
