Rockets forward Kevin Durant participated in approximately half of Houston’s practice on Monday and will be evaluated before the game on Tuesday, as stated by coach Ime Udoka.

Durant was absent from the Rockets’ defeat in Game 1 of their opening round series against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a knee injury sustained during practice on Wednesday.

Udoka referred to the injury as “hopefully … a one-game thing” prior to Game 1 on Saturday, noting that imaging revealed no structural issues with Durant’s knee.

Durant, 37, led the team with an average of 26 points per game during the regular season, and the Rockets noticeably lacked his scoring ability in the 107-98 defeat to L.A. Houston recorded less than 40% shooting from the field in that game and lost despite taking 27 more shots than the Lakers.

Game 2 is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday in Houston.
