Joel Embiid makes comeback from oblique injury as 76ers face Bulls at home.

PHILADELPHIA — Joel Embiid made his return to the Philadelphia 76ers’ roster on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls after being sidelined for 13 straight games due to a right oblique strain.
This season, Embiid has participated in only 33 games because of various injuries. His most recent injury occurred during a 124-117 victory over the Miami Heat on February 26.
The 76ers also saw Paul George rejoin the team following a 25-game suspension for breaching the NBA’s anti-drug policy.
Philadelphia approached the game with a record of 39-33, placing them seventh in the Eastern Conference, which would necessitate participation in the NBA’s play-in tournament. The 76ers are currently 1 1/2 games behind fifth-place Toronto.
