Grizzlies’ Ja Morant sidelined for a minimum of two additional weeks

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will be sidelined for a minimum of two additional weeks as he continues his recovery from a sprained ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow.
The Grizzlies announced on Thursday that Morant is making progress in his rehabilitation but is still feeling discomfort. The two-time All-Star underwent follow-up imaging on Wednesday, which revealed what the team referred to as “incomplete healing of the injury.”
The Grizzlies stated that Morant will undergo re-evaluation in two weeks.
This season, Morant has participated in 20 games, averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 assists. He has not played since sustaining his elbow injury on January 21.
